It is divided into two sections. The first section, Numbas Content from Newcastle contains links to content created by the Numbas Development Team from Newcastle University. The second section, Numbas Content from Western contains links to Numbas content within the University.
Numbas Content from Newcastle#
This section contains links to resources that are produced and maintained by the developers of Numbas.
The Numbas Editor#
The Numbas Editor is the place where the questions you have written are turned into Numbas questions.
You can sign up for a free account at this website and get started on creating your first question.
Numbas Documentation#
The Numbas Documentation is the official documentation for the Numbas Editor. It is frequently updated and is, for all intents and purposes, a work in progress.
The documentation is open source, contributions and suggestions are welcome through the project’s GitHub.
Numbas Blog#
The Numbas Blog is the best place to find out about new releases and updates to the Numbas Editor.
Talks, training sessions, research findings, and conference announcements are also posted here.
Numbas Users Group#
The Numbas Google User Group is a great way of keeping up with the development of Numbas. Also a really great place to ask questions and see other people’s questions and answers.
You can sign up for updates directly to your e-mail account to be notified of new questions and updates to questions you have asked.

This section contains links to useful resources produced and maintained by Western Sydney University.
MESH#
Numbas at MESH contains documentation written by the MESH Team for Numbas. A Western Sydney University login is required.
This is a continually expanding repository of information.
Yammer Support Group#
The Numbas Support Group on Yammer is the Western Sydney University Numbas support group in Yammer. It is run by MESH.
Feel free to ask questions here about anything relating to Numbas.
